Oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Financial Reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure timely completion of financial closing activities. Provide financial analysis, management reports, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Manage project accounting functions, including job costing, Work-in-Progress (WIP), revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis. Monitor project budgets against actual expenditures and report cost variances to management. Review and verify subcontractor payments, progress billings, retention balances, and contract variations. Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, taxation laws, accounting standards, and company policies. Establish and maintain effective internal controls and accurate financial documentation. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Supervise monthly payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary payments through the Wage Protection System (WPS). Manage payroll-related provisions, including annual leave, air ticket entitlements, and End of Service (EOS) benefits. Monitor project cash flows, working capital requirements, and overall liquidity management. Manage company bank accounts, payment planning, fund utilization, and banking relationships. Lead, supervise, and develop accounting staff to ensure operational efficiency and professional growth. Improve accounting procedures, reporting systems, and financial processes to enhance accuracy, control, and efficiency.previous experience in contracting companies preferable to be in MEP field minimum 5 years experience as chief accounting able to work under pressure with small team members
