Legal offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing firm in a dynamic legal and business hub. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dubai. The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities, including maintaining general ledgers, processing invoices, recording journal entries, and preparing periodic financial statements and reports. The role involves reconciling accounts, monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies. The Accountant will support audits, prepare documentation for tax and regulatory filings as applicable, and coordinate with internal teams to provide accurate financial information. The position also requires ongoing improvement of accounting processes, use of accounting software, and clear communication of financial insights to management. Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management. Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, as well as MS Excel and other spreadsheet tools. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation, and cash flow management. Understanding of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in the UAE. Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work closely with legal and administrative teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage. Prior experience in professional services, legal, or consulting environments is beneficial.
