The environment offers opportunities to take ownership, contribute ideas, and develop professionally. Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This role is responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. The Senior Accountant will manage month-end and year-end closing processes, produce financial statements and management reports, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring cash flow, reviewing expenses and revenue recognition, maintaining compliance with local regulations and accounting standards, and supporting internal and external audits. The role will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems , as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local regulatory requirements in the UAE or similar jurisdictions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with high attention to detail and accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role, including mentoring or guiding less experienced team members. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage.
