What will you be doing?

• Record daily transactions in the general ledger system and ensure proper classification of expenses and revenues.

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and basic adjustments.

• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure all entries are accurate and properly documented.

• Prepare monthly closing schedules and ensure all required data is completed on time.

• Reconcile bank statements with accounting records and resolve any differences.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts such as receivables, payables, and intercompany balances.

• Prepare basic financial reports and accounting summaries for management review.

• Organize and maintain accounting records, invoices, and financial documents in an organized filing system.

• Check financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Process and verify invoices, payments, and receipts in accounts payable and receivable.

• Update accounting records in the system and ensure data is always up to date.

Job Requirements

What are we looking for?

• Holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance from a reputable university

• 0-2 Years of work experience as General Accountant or in a similar role

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Familiarity with journal entries and basic account reconciliations

• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Formulas and basic analysis)
