We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to support the financial operations of a growing peptide distribution business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and providing timely financial information to support business decisions. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Process supplier payments and customer receipts. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts. Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and accounting standards. Support inventory accounting and reconciliation, ensuring accurate valuation and movement of stock. Prepare management reports and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or ACA is an advantage. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience. Experience within distribution, trading, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries is preferred. Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
