Description
We are seeking a highly experienced senior accountant with strong expertise in large-scale payroll processing, multi-company accounting, and end-to-end financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex accounting structures, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial accuracy across multiple business entities.
Requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Payroll management (large scale)
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for high-volume employee groups.
Ensure timely salary disbursement in compliance with UAE regulations and WPS.
Handle payroll reconciliation and reporting.
Maintain accurate payroll records across multiple entities. - Multi-company accounting
Manage accounting operations for multiple companies/entities.
Prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements.
Ensure accurate inter-company allocations and reconciliations. - Bank reconciliation
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate cash flow tracking and reporting. - Intercompany transactions
Record and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance between entities.
Maintain accuracy in cost allocation and transfers. - Invoicing & accounts management
Oversee client invoicing and vendor billing processes.
Ensure accuracy in accounts payable and receivable.
Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on collections. - Taxation & compliance
Prepare and file VAT returns and other applicable tax submissions.
Ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations.
Support audits and provide required financial documentation. - Budgeting & reporting
Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
Prepare financial reports and variance analysis.
Support management with financial insights for decision-making.
Preferred experience
- Experience in recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, or manpower supply companies.
- Exposure to high-volume payroll processing (200+ employees).
- Experience handling both payroll processing and client invoicing within the same role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of accounting experience (preferably in multi-company environments).
- Strong experience in payroll processing (large-scale operations).
- Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience in bank reconciliation and intercompany accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
