Job DescriptionJob Title: AccountantJob Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our growing e-commerce team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain daily accounting transactions and journal entries.

  • Reconcile bank accounts, digital wallets, and payment gateways.

  • Monitor sales, expenses, and inventory-related financial transactions.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Follow up with suppliers and customers regarding payments and account balances.

  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.

  • Coordinate with operations, sales, and management to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required.

  • Recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Odoo, Zoho Books, ERP systems, or similar).

  • Experience with digital payment platforms and online sales reconciliation is an advantage.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
