Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our steel manufacturing team. You will be responsible for cost accounting, inventory valuation, fixed assets, tax compliance, and financial reporting, with a strong focus on industrial/manufacturing accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full accounting cycle, including GL, reconciliations, and financial statements.

• Manage cost accounting for production processes (melting, casting, rolling).

• Analyze scrap cost, raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory.

• Handle tax filings (Income Tax, VAT, WHT) and coordinate with tax authorities.

• Lead inventory audits and physical counts at plant sites.

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team.

• Work on ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) Odoo and advanced Excel.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Accounting or Finance (MBA or professional certification is a plus: CMA/CPA/DipIFR).

• 7–10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in heavy industry (steel, cement, or mining).

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and standard costing systems.

• Expertise in Egyptian tax laws and VAT.

• Advanced Excel and ERP experience.

• Fluent Arabic & English .

• Leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills.

• Valid driver's license.
