Role Description The Senior Accountant role at Seamaty Africa for Medical Supplies LLC. is a full-time, on-site position based in Egypt. The Senior Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close activities. This role will prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The Senior Accountant will analyze financial data, provide insights to support management decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls. The role also includes supporting audits, maintaining accurate documentation, and mentoring junior accounting team members as needed. Qualifications Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making. Solid knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes in Egypt. Experience using accounting and ERP software, with strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and non-finance teams. Demonstrated integrity, discretion in handling confidential information, and commitment to ethical financial practices. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage. Several years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or technology-related environment. Ability to work on-site in Egypt and adapt to an international company culture.preferred living at October Gardens , 6 of october , zayed.
