Job Description

Connectalents, a leading Recruitment & HRO company in MENA, is currently hiring a Senior Cost Accountant for a leading Cairo-based logistics, supply chain, and international trading company.

Job Role:

• Managefull-cycle accounting for trading and import operations
• Recordand reconcile import-related transactions (customs duties, freight,insurance, clearing charges, etc.)
• Monitorinventory accounting, valuation, and cost of goods sold
• Preparemonthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensurecompliance with local tax laws, VAT, customs, and regulatory requirements
• Handlebank reconciliations, supplier accounts, and foreign currency transactions
• Coordinatewith customs agents, banks, auditors, and tax consultants
• Supportbudgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Reviewand improve internal controls and accounting processes
• Supervisejunior accounting staff

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor'sDegree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-5of accounting experience, with strong exposure to the trading/importindustry.
• Soldunderstanding of import/export documentation and costing.
• Experiencewith Odoo (mandatory)
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office.
• Verygood English (written and spoken)
• Stronganalytical and problem solving skills.
• Highattention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
