Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.

• Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability to provide actionable insights for management decision-making.

• Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

• Monitor and review inventory transactions, reconciliations, and valuations to maintain data integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost accounting and inventory management.

• Conduct regular audits of cost records and systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports as requested by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year and up to 7 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
