Responsibilities

The Chief Accountant will oversee the company's accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with regulations.

Main Duties:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closings.

- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.

- Ensure tax filings are completed accurately and in compliance with local regulations.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audit processes.

- Assist in preparing budgets and financial reports for management review.

- Lead and mentor the finance team, improving their productivity and accuracy in reporting.

- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's long-term objectives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the industrial sector.

- Very good knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skill.

- Very good leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
