Job Title: Account Executive

Location: Gulf Aquaculture LLC, UAQ - UAE
Reports To: Office Manager

Position Summary:
Gulf Aquaculture is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant that manages financial records, ensures regulatory compliance, and prepares statements to track an organization's financial health. Key duties include reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, computing taxes, and executing monthly and annual closings. They provide reliable data to inform critical business and investment decisions.

Core Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Reconciliation & Auditing: Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, verify transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
• Compliance & Taxation: Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Budgeting: Assist management in preparing budget forecasts and monitoring financial performance against set targets.
• System Management: Maintain accurate digital ledgers and utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) for data processing

Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills
• Education: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications (especially MS Excel) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong mathematical and analytical abilities, and strict adherence to data confidentiality. Exceptional conflict resolution, active listening, and strategic communication skills.
• Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic or other languages are a plus.
