We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance. Qualifications:✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field✔ Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a Chief Accountant or senior supervisory role✔ Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls✔ Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred✔ Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems✔ Experience in commodity trading in Oil and Gas is highly preferred Key Responsibilities:Oversee the daily accounting operations and lead the accounting team Manage month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRSEnsure timely reconciliation of accounts, banks, and inventory Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies Coordinate internal and external audits Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management Key Skills:Financial Reporting & Analysis IFRS Compliance General Ledger & Reconciliations Budgeting & Forecasting Leadership & Team Management ERP Systems (SAP/Oracle) Analytical Thinking & Attention to Detail
