Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The role includes handling tax-related filings, supporting compliance with local regulations, and assisting in the preparation of management reports and financial analyses for clients. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to clarify financial data, respond to inquiries, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. This is a full-time remote role, requiring strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams and diverse clients.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statement preparation. Candidates should possess skills in tax accounting and compliance, including familiarity with relevant Saudi tax regulations and reporting requirements. Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and digital tools, such as cloud-based ERP systems, spreadsheets, and data management platforms. Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements. Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders and collaborate with remote teams. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, along with professional certifications (e.g., CPA, SOCPA) being a plus. Experience working with startups or small to medium-sized businesses, and familiarity with fintech or technology-driven environments, is beneficial. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple client accounts, and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
