Chief Accountant – Samaya Investment???? Riyadh | Full Time Samaya Investment Company is hiring a Chief Accountant to lead day-to-day accounting operations across Samaya, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely closings, and full compliance with IFRS and ZATCA requirements. Key Responsibilities:Manage the full monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycle, ensuring the general ledger and trial balance are complete by the 5th of each month Supervise journal entries, accruals, provisions, and intercompany transactions across group entities Oversee bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations Prepare accurate monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Prepare and file VAT returns, Zakat requirements, and E-Invoicing (Fatoora) compliance Support the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis Oversee accounts payable and receivable cycles, aging analysis, and collections Act as primary point of contact for external auditors and prepare audit schedules Maintain fixed asset register and oversee periodic inventory counts Supervise and develop the accounting team, defining clear KPIsOptimize use of the Odoo ERP system (Financial & Accounting Modules) Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce Professional certification (SOCPA, CPA, CMA) preferred Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading/retail or group structures Minimum 3 years in a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant role Proven experience with Zakat/Tax and ZATCA compliance in the Saudi market (mandatory) Expert proficiency in Odoo ERP (Financial & Accounting Modules) Fluency in Arabic and English (written & spoken
