Accounts Payable Accountant is required for a multinational Transportation and supply Chain company located 6 October, Egypt.

Accounts Payable Accountantis required for a multinational Transportation and supply Chain company located 6 October, Egypt.

Responsibilities:

• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
• Process check requests.
• Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly.
• Respond to all vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
• Assist in the monthly closing.
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar AP role.
• Fluent in English is a must.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; ERP and CMA are a plus.
