About the Cost Accountant Role

ASAS ANQ is seeking a dedicated Cost Accountant to join their team in Ar Rass, Al Qasim. This full-time position focuses on managing and optimizing costs across the company's cafe, restaurant, and pastry operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cost accounting principles and experience within the food and beverage sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control raw material costs, reconciling them with actual sales data.
• Prepare detailed periodic financial reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly analyses of cost percentages, wastage, and inventory variances.
• Analyze recipe costs to accurately determine the unit cost for each menu item and product.
• Track, monitor, and report on waste and shrinkage, developing and implementing solutions for minimization.
• Collaborate with kitchen and production teams to optimize portion control and ingredient utilization.
• Assist in the preparation of operational cost budgets and contribute to cost-reduction strategies.
• Conduct regular audits at branches and the central kitchen to verify inventory and monitor operations on-site.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Cost Accountant, specifically within the F&B sector (restaurants, cafés, and pastry central kitchens).
• Proficiency in accounting software, with a preference for Odoo ERP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• High accuracy and attention to detail in managing numbers, data entry, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical capabilities to compile, interpret, and present financial reports effectively.

This role requires 5-10 years of experience and is a full-time position based in Ar Rass, Al Qasim. The Cost Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of ASAS ANQ's diverse food service operations.
