Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in the construction industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of construction accounting, project costing, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.

• Preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.

• Monitoring project costs, budgets, and cost allocations.

• Preparing project cost reports and profitability analysis.

• Managing subcontractor and supplier payments.

• Preparing and reviewing client invoices, payment certificates, and collection schedules.

• Reconciling bank accounts and monitoring cash flow.

• Assisting in payroll preparation and expense management.

• Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.

• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Assisting with internal and external audits.

• Coordinating with project managers to track project financial performance and budgets.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of accounting experience in construction/contracting companies.

• Strong knowledge of project costing, subcontractor accounting, and contract accounting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadl
