About the job Corporate Tax Manager - Tax Advisory

Location: Bahrain

Department: Tax Advisory, Grant Thornton Abdulaal

Designation: Manager - Corporate Tax

Primary Duties

• Deliver a full range of tax advisory services in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise.
• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex tax returns.
• Identify risks, manage tax exposures, and mitigate tax risks by providing tax planning, structuring, and highlighting tax implications.
• Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
• Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
• Manage and coordinate tax audits.
• Inform management of changes in the tax environment, as well as the ramifications of tax legislation changes.
• Manage and lead the tax advisory team.

Decision Making Authority

• In coordination with Partner & Senior Partner.

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent numeric and analytical skills.
• Result-driven and client focus.
• Ability to meet client deadlines.
• Ability to withstanding work pressure.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related field.
• Completed a professional qualification, such as CPA/ACCA/CA/ LLB/LLM/LLD/JSD.
• 5+ years of professional experience in the taxation field.
• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
