Job Description

Alfa is looking for a detail-oriented AR Claims Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable claims, ensuring accurate billing, and resolving discrepancies with insurance providers and corporate clients in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance and corporate claims.

• Reconcile AR claims accounts and resolve outstanding balances.

• Investigate and resolve claim rejections, denials, and short payments.

• Coordinate with insurance companies and third-party payers to ensure timely settlement.

• Maintain accurate records of claims status and correspondence.

• Prepare periodic AR claims reports for management review.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare billing regulations.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in AR claims accounting, preferably in healthcare/diagnostics.

• Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes and reconciliation.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
