Overview: As our General Accountant, you will be a cornerstone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial transactions. You will play a crucial role in maintaining robust financial health and supporting strategic decision-making within our dynamic business landscape.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

  • Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements .

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations for optimal resource allocation.

  • Utilize ERP Software extensively to streamline accounting processes and enhance data accuracy.

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Collaborate effectively with sales and retail teams to support operational finance needs.

  • Proactively identify and resolve complex financial discrepancies and issues through exceptional problem-solving skills.

• Skills & Technologies: You will be an expert in Accounting principles, proficient with various ERP Software solutions, and possess strong capabilities in Financial Reporting and Financial Analysis. Your command of Data Analysis tools and methodologies will be essential, complemented by excellent Communication and Time Management abilities.

Job Requirements

• Experience & Expertise:
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of progressive experience in a General Accountant or similar financial role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in core Accounting principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP Software is essential for managing complex financial data.
  • Proven track record in Financial Reporting, including the preparation and analysis of key financial statements.
  • Strong capabilities in Financial Analysis and Budgeting.
• Essential Skills:
  • Exceptional Problem-solving abilities to navigate and resolve financial challenges effectively.
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis, enabling you to derive actionable insights from financial information.
  • Outstanding Communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and concise reporting and collaboration.
  • Superior Time Management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Expertise in General Ledger Management and ensuring accurate ledger entries.
  • Familiarity with Tax Compliance and regulations relevant to the Egyptian market.
  • Understanding and implementation of strong Internal Controls.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
