We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing our day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our financial reporting processes.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in UAE financial regulations, general accounting principles, and hands-on, professional experience using Zoho accounting software (Zoho Books).

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day Accounting: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations using Zoho Books.

UAE Tax Compliance & Filing: Prepare and file accurate UAE Corporate Tax returns and VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate balance sheets, income statements, and regular financial reports.

Invoicing & Billing: Generate compliant tax invoices, track incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts within the Zoho platform.

Expense Management: Review, categorize, and reconcile company expenses, ensuring correct VAT treatment on all transactions.

Audit Support: Assist with internal and external financial audits as required.

Process Improvement: Optimize our accounting workflows and make the most of Zoho’s automation and reporting features.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Experience: Proven experience working as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or Finance Professional.

Tax Knowledge: Mandatory experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filing and FTA regulations.

Software Expertise: Hands-on experience using Zoho accounting software (Zoho Books). Please highlight your specific Zoho proficiency in your application.

Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Skills: Strong understanding of accounting standards, exceptional attention to detail, and high proficiency in Excel.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
