Job Description

Manage the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closing.

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

Maintain fixed assets records and calculate depreciation.

Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.

Accounts Management

Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Follow up on customer collections and supplier payments.

Prepare payment schedules and ensure timely execution.

Monitor customer credit limits and outstanding balances.

Tax & Compliance

Prepare and review tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory requirements).

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local tax regulations.

Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation during audits.

ERP & Reporting

Record and review transactions using Odoo ERP.

Ensure proper accounting configuration and accurate transaction posting in Odoo.

Generate financial and management reports from the ERP system.

Work closely with other departments to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5–7 years of experience as a General Accountant.

Mandatory hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.

Strong knowledge of General Ledger, AP, AR, Cost Accounting, and Financial Reporting.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, reporting)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Experience in a manufacturing is a strong advantage.
