Job Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant - Accounting Firm Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services, supporting multiple client engagements, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards. This position requires strong technical expertise, hands-on execution, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and SOCPA standards.
• Support accounting advisory engagements, including financial restructuring and liquidation assignments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Prepare high-quality reports and documentation in both Arabic and English.
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports and regulatory filings.
• Utilize accounting systems and ERP solutions effectively (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle).
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably within an accounting or consulting firm.
• Solid experience in financial reporting, general ledger, and advisory support.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and SOCPA standards.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).

Language Skills:

• Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Core Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of accountability and ownership.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Experience in accounting advisory, liquidation, or restructuring projects.
• Previous experience in a Big Four firm (EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC) is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with project management tools or methodologies.
