Role Description The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, tracking expenses, and supporting budgeting and cost control activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies, assisting with audits, and providing accurate financial reports to management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in El Mansoura, requiring regular collaboration with other departments to support informed business decisions. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and reconciliation. Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet tools, with the ability to manage digital records and generate reports. Candidates should possess solid analytical and numerical skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support budgeting and forecasting. Candidates should possess attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation. Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills to explain financial information and collaborate with internal teams. Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, especially in retail or trading environments, is an advantage. Familiarity with local financial regulations, taxation, and basic audit procedures is beneficial.
