Job Description

 ·        Full supervision of the accounting cycle and preparation of the final financial statements.

·        Managing and reviewing the costs of contracting projects (extracts, subcontractors, and completion percentages)

·        Prepare and review factory cost reports and analyze deviations

·        Preparing estimated budgets and monitoring the financial performance of projects and the factory

·        Handling the accounts of suppliers, customers, subcontractors, banks, receivables and payables.

·        Preparation of monthly and periodic financial and analytical reports for senior management

·        Oversee the accounting team, assign tasks, and follow up on performance

·        Strong experience in contracting and industrial cost accounting

·        Proficiency in dealing with ERP systems and Excel software professionally

·        Leadership personality and high ability to withstand work pressure

Job Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in Commerce – Accounting or a relevant qualification.

·        Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably including at least 5 years in an Accounting Manager or Chief Accountant position.

·        Previous experience in construction, contracting, or engineering companies.

·        Strong experience in construction accounting and project accounting.

·        Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements and periodic financial reports.

·        Experience in preparing and monitoring budgets and cash flow forecasts.

·        Ability to monitor project costs, compare actual costs against budgets, and analyze variances.

·        Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in ERP and accounting systems preferred.
