تفاصيل الوظيفةWe are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Factory Accountant with strong knowledge of Tally Prime, inventory management, cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, and UAE accounting and taxation regulations.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in a manufacturing/factory environment and be capable of independently managing the accounting cycle from the purchase of raw materials through production to the final finished product.

Key Requirements

* Advanced and practical knowledge of Tally Prime is mandatory.

* Strong experience in Factory / Manufacturing Accounting.

* Excellent knowledge of Inventory and Warehouse Accounting, including:

* Raw Materials

* Work in Progress (WIP)

* Finished Goods

* Stock Transfers

* Material Consumption

* Stock Adjustments

* Physical Stock Reconciliation

* Inventory Valuation

* Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Product Costing.

* Must be able to accurately calculate the complete cost of production from raw materials to finished goods, including:

* Raw Material Cost

* Direct Labour Cost

* Direct Expenses

* Manufacturing Overheads

* Factory Overheads

* Utilities and Production-Related Expenses

* Wastage, Scrap and Production Losses

* Work-in-Progress Cost

* Finished Goods Cost

* Cost per Unit

* Ability to prepare and analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) and compare standard/estimated costs with actual production costs.

* Ability to identify and analyze cost variances, material wastage, abnormal losses and production inefficiencies.

* Strong understanding of General Accounting, including:

* Accounts Payable

* Accounts Receivable

* General Ledger

* Bank Reconciliation

* Cash Management

* Fixed Assets

* Depreciation

* Accruals and Prepayments

* Payroll Accounting

* Monthly and Year-End Closing

* Good knowledge of UAE VAT, UAE Corporate Tax and applicable UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements.

* Good understanding of IFRS and applicable accounting standards.

* Ability to maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents for audit and tax compliance purposes.

* Experience in preparing:

* Profit & Loss Statements

* Balance Sheets

* Cash Flow Reports

* Costing Reports

* Inventory Reports

* Production Cost Reports

* Management Reports

* Budget vs. Actual Reports

* Ability to coordinate closely with the Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Sales and Management teams.

* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and other accounting-related functions.

* Ability to establish and maintain effective internal controls for inventory, purchasing, production and financial transactions.

* Capable of detecting discrepancies between physical inventory, production records and accounting records and taking appropriate corrective action.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and take full responsibility for factory accounting and costing activities.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

* Previous accounting experience in a factory or manufacturing company is strongly preferred.

* Previous working experience in the UAE is preferred.

* Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent will be an advantage.

* Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

Position Summary

This position is particularly suitable for an accountant who understands not only bookkeeping and financial accounting, but also how materials physically and financially move through a factory — from purchasing and receiving raw materials, through warehouse and production processes, to Work in Progress and ultimately Finished Goods.

Candidates without strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime, inventory accounting, manufacturing accounting and product costing should not apply.
