About the job Senior Accountant

Location: Seef, Bahrain

Industry: Hospitality / Restaurants

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
Record and review accounting transactions using Odoo ERP.
Manage staff Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general ledger activities.
Perform regular bank, cash, and other account reconciliations.
Handle month-end closing and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Monitor revenues, expenses, cash collections, and daily financial transactions.
Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management.
Coordinate with external auditors and provide required information and documentation.
Support VAT filings and ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
Identify accounting discrepancies and support timely resolution.
Maintain proper documentation and adherence to internal accounting controls.
