Job DescriptionNasco Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, strengthening internal controls, and supporting strategic financial planning.ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Analyse financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to management.Develop, implement, and improve internal accounting controls and procedures.Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.Review and approve financial reports.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Calculate/review the landed cost of products, including the purchase cost, freight, insurance, customs duty, and other related charges.Calculate/review the selling price based on the landed cost and required profit margin.ProfileRequirements and SkillsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).Master’s degree in accounting or MBA with a focus on Finance (preferred).Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA (preferred).Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in corporate or public accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.Experience with data analysis, financial modelling, and reporting tools.Strong understanding of internal control and auditing procedures.Soft SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.Team player with the ability to work independently when required.Ethical conduct and confidentiality.To apply, kindly submit your CV in PDF format to
