Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead daily accounting operations across multiple BPO and payroll service accounts. The role will supervise a team of four junior accountants and ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and timely financial closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of four junior accountants.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Review payroll accounting entries and client reconciliations.
- Manage accounting transactions and reporting through Odoo ERP.
- Lead month-end closing and bank and intercompany reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including team supervision.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, AP, and AR.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Egyptian tax and accounting regulations.
- Payroll accounting or outsourcing experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
