Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing periodic financial reports. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, tracking project-related costs, and ensuring timely invoicing and payments. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, monitoring expenses, preparing tax-related documentation, and supporting internal and external audits. The Accountant will collaborate closely with project managers and procurement staff to ensure accurate cost allocation and compliance with company policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in El ‘Arīsh. Qualifications Proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements. Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Ability to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking for projects. Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit preparation processes. Competence with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel for spreadsheets and reporting. Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage. Prior experience in construction or supply-chain environments is preferred but not required.
