An exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join a growing organization based in Abu Dhabi. The role will support the finance function across accounting operations, financial reporting, payment processing, banking activities, tax compliance, and audit support. Description

* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
* Perform bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
* Support month-end and year-end close activities.
* Assist in preparing monthly management reports and financial statements.
* Process and review supplier payments, employee expenses, and banking transactions.
* Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate cash position records.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring timely processing and follow-up.
* Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries.
* Support external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.
* Prepare VAT returns and support taxation compliance and reporting requirements.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain accurate financial records within the ERP system and support process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA are advantageous.
* 2 to 4 years of accounting experience.
* Strong experience in payment processing, banking operations, and reconciliations.
* Good knowledge of taxation, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.
* Understanding of IFRS and accounting best practices.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Must be based in the UAE (open to candidates without UAE work experience)
* Immediately available candidates preferred.
