About the job Bookkeeper

Job Title: Bookkeeper (Remote)

Location: Remote (Egypt-based)

Salary: 7,500 - 12,500 EGP per month (depending on experience)

Hours: Various (part-time or full-time, depending on client needs)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support UK-based clients with day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on bookkeeping experience who are comfortable using accounting software and working remotely with international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Record invoices, expenses, and daily transactions
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Support month-end reporting and basic financial summaries
• Use bookkeeping software to manage and update financial data
• Organise and maintain financial documentation
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and UK-based clients when required

Required Skills & Experience

• Practical understanding of bookkeeping or accounting principles
• Experience using bookkeeping software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
• Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and spoken English
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
• Strong organisational and time-management skills

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Experience supporting UK or international clients
• Accounting or finance-related qualification or training
• Familiarity with VAT basics or UK bookkeeping practices
