Job Description

Part-Time Accountant – Cairo, Egypt

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Accountant with good English communication skills and hands-on experience using Odoo Accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting and data entry

• Maintain general ledgers and financial records

• Handle accounts payable and receivable

• Perform bank reconciliations

• Prepare basic financial reports

• Keep all accounting records accurate and up to date

Job Requirements

• Required Skills: We are seeking a financial wizard with a robust skill set including:

  • Odoo: Proven expertise in using Odoo for comprehensive accounting and financial management.

  • Accounting: Deep understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

  • Chartered Accountant: Professional qualification demonstrating a high level of accounting proficiency.

  • Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports with precision.

  • General Ledger Management: Strong command over maintaining and reconciling the general ledger.

  • Tax Compliance: Knowledge of local and international tax regulations and compliance.

  • Audit Preparation: Experience in preparing for and assisting with internal and external audits.

  • Budgeting: Skill in developing, managing, and monitoring budgets effectively.

  • Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.

  • Data Analysis: Capability to analyze complex financial data and derive actionable insights.

  • Attention to Detail: Impeccable accuracy and thoroughness in all financial tasks.

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate financial challenges.

• Education Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred.

• Experience Requirements: Candidates must possess 1-3 years of dedicated experience in a professional accounting role, demonstrating a solid foundation in financial operations and reporting.
