Seeking an experienced General Accountant to support its finance operations on a 4-month contractual assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closing within a real estate or property management environment. The role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing high-volume transactions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)

Process and verify vendor, contractor, and supplier invoices related to property and corporate operations. Ensure timely payment processing and accurate allocation of expenses. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies. Maintain AP aging reports and monitor outstanding liabilities.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Prepare and issue tenant invoices, service charge invoices, and other receivables. Monitor rent collections and outstanding balances. Follow up with tenants and clients regarding overdue payments. Perform customer account reconciliations and maintain accurate AR aging reports.

General Accounting

Record and maintain accounting transactions within the ERP/accounting system. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Perform bank, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist in maintaining the general ledger and ensuring data accuracy. Support internal and external audit requirements.

Month-End Closing & Reporting

Execute month-end closing activities within the agreed timelines. Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation. Review revenue, expenses, accruals, and provisions for accuracy. Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the real estate or property management sector.

Strong hands-on experience in AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

Knowledge of tenant accounting, rent collections, and property-related financial transactions is highly advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

Good understanding of IFRS and UAE accounting practices. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Profile

Experience working with real estate developers, property management companies, or real estate consultancies. Ability to handle multiple properties/entities and high transaction volumes.

Available to join immediately or on a very short notice period.
