Job Description

* Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations for the Saudi office.

* Review accounting entries, reconciliations, general ledger accounts, and financial transactions.

* Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

* Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi Zakat and Tax requirements.

* Coordinate with external audit firms and provide the required financial documentation and supporting schedules.

* Support closing activities and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

* Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting activities.

* Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation through Odoo ERP.

* Ensure accounting processes and transactions are aligned with internal policies and applicable regulations.

* Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.

* Support management with financial information and accounting-related reports as required.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Experience as a Chief Accountant or Accounting Supervisor, with at least 1-2 years at the same seniority level.

- Previous experience with the Saudi market is mandatory.

* Good knowledge and practical exposure to Saudi Zakat and Tax requirements.

* Proven experience in dealing and coordinating with external audit firms.

* Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is mandatory.

* Previous experience within the Retail industry is preferred

* Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and closing processes.

* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
