About the Role

We are looking for a **Junior Accountant / Accountant** to join our professional accounting and advisory team. The ideal candidate should have **up to 1 year of experience in an Accounting, Audit, Tax, or Advisory Firm** and should have a good understanding of basic accounting principles.

Candidates with **Myanmar, Chinese, or Tagalog language skills are preferred**, along with good English communication skills.

### Key Responsibilities

* Maintain accurate accounting records and perform day-to-day bookkeeping for clients.

* Handle **Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)**.

* Prepare bank, customer, supplier, and ledger reconciliations.

* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

* Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

* Assist with **UAE VAT calculations, reconciliations, and VAT return preparation**.

* Support **UAE Corporate Tax** compliance and preparation of required schedules and documentation.

* Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documents for external audits.

* Maintain proper accounting and tax documentation for client records.

* Coordinate with clients to collect accounting documents and information.

* Assist senior accountants with client accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements.

* Ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards and UAE regulations.

### Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in **Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field**.

* **0–1 year of experience** in an Accounting, Audit, Tax, or Advisory Firm.

* Freshers with relevant internship/articleship experience may also be considered.

* Basic understanding of **bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial statements, VAT, and Corporate Tax**.

* Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as **Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar**.

* Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.

* Good English communication skills.

* **Myanmar, Chinese, or Tagalog speaker – Preferred.**

* Willingness to learn and work with multiple client accounts.
