About Albawani

Albawani (البواني) is a prominent organization seeking an Internal Auditor to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the organization's assurance and advisory services, playing a key role in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency.

The Role of Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor delivers professional, objective, and impactful internal audit assurance and advisory services across the organization. This involves active participation in annual planning, engagement execution, and follow-up activities for selected audit engagements. The role requires developing relationships with key stakeholders and proposing insights to the Lead Auditor with the intention of making a positive impact on organizational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned audit tasks in accordance with the approved audit plan.
• Assist in fieldwork activities and the testing of controls.
• Prepare audit working papers accurately and on time.
• Identify audit issues and report them to the Senior/Internal Audit team.
• Prepare and maintain audit documentation in line with internal audit requirements.
• Ensure working papers are complete and well-organized.
• Update documentation based on review comments received.
• Follow approved audit programs and instructions diligently.
• Complete assigned procedures within the defined scope of each audit.
• Support any required updates to audit programs.
• Assist in tracking audit findings and management action plans.
• Update the status of assigned actions regularly.
• Support the team in follow-up activities to ensure resolution.
• Communicate effectively with team members during audit activities.
• Coordinate with auditees to collect necessary information.
• Support discussions related to audit observations.
• Develop an understanding of internal audit processes and standards.
• Perform simple data analysis as required for audit engagements.
• Support audits involving systems when needed.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this Internal Auditor role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in internal audit or a related field. A strong understanding of internal audit processes and standards is essential, along with the ability to perform data analysis and maintain meticulous documentation. The role requires a professional approach to delivering objective assurance and advisory services.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working collaboratively within the internal audit team and interacting with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure comprehensive audit coverage and effective communication.
