تفاصيل الوظيفةWe are seeking an accurate and personable Cashier to process customer transactions quickly and correctly at our checkouts. Reporting to the Front End Supervisor, the successful candidate will handle payments, assist customers at the point of sale, and take responsibility for the accuracy and security of the cash in their till.

The core of the role is transaction processing. The Cashier scans items accurately, verifies quantities and weights where applicable, applies promotions, coupons, and loyalty discounts correctly, and completes the sale through the point-of-sale system without delay. Payments are accepted in cash, by card, and through digital wallets and vouchers in line with store procedure, with change counted back carefully and receipts issued for every transaction. Price discrepancies, unscanned barcodes, and item queries are resolved by calling a supervisor or price check rather than guessing at the amount.
