• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

• Maintain accurate records of cash, credit card, bank, and online payment transactions.

• Handle daily sales reconciliation and verify cash collections against POS/system reports.

• Record and monitor purchase invoices, supplier payments, and outstanding balances.

• Perform supplier and customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and financial reports for management.

• Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and payment gateway transactions.

• Monitor petty cash, expenses, and staff-related payments.

• Coordinate with purchasing and store operations teams to verify invoices, GRNs, stock purchases, and supporting documents.

• Assist with inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and investigation of stock variances.

• Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial records.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare necessary schedules.

• Assist in VAT-related accounting, documentation, and reconciliation in compliance with UAE requirements.

• Coordinate with auditors and provide required accounting documents and supporting schedules.

• Ensure accounting entries are accurate and comply with company policies and procedures.

• Use accounting software and Excel for transaction processing, reconciliation, reporting, and financial analysis.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

• Freshers are welcome to apply.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

• Basic understanding of sales, purchases, cash, expenses, and journal entries.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

• Willingness to learn retail and supermarket accounting operations.

• Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a team and handle day-to-day accounting tasks responsibly.

• Candidates with knowledge of accounting software/ERP will be an advantage.

• UAE experience is not mandatory.

• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
