الوصف الوظيفي

Maintain and enforce accounting standards, internal controls, financial transactions, and accounting procedures.
Coordinate accounting functions and ensure accurate and timely processing.
Record journal entries, accruals, and period-end closing entries.
Prepare vendor payments and bank reconciliations.
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
Assist with annual audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and compliance issues.
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax requirements.
Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff.
Perform other accounting duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
MBA or professional certification such as CPA or CA is an advantage.
Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably with law firm experience).
At least 2 years of experience in a similar Senior Accountant position.
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Good knowledge of accounting standards and GAAP.
Strong knowledge of financial controls, reconciliations, reporting, audit, and compliance.
Experience with UAE and/or KSA accounting and tax requirements is an advantage.
Fluent in English. Arabic is a plus.
