About the Role

Big Blue Diamond Co. is seeking a Cost Accounting professional to join its accounting firm in Riyadh. This full-time position involves analyzing financial data to enhance financial efficiency and support strategic decision-making. The role is suited for individuals with 2-5 years of experience in cost accounting who are focused on contributing to cost management and profitability within a collaborative team.

Role Contribution

The Cost Accountant will play a direct role in influencing the company’s financial health and operational efficiency. This involves implementing cost-saving initiatives and improving financial processes. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost reports using advanced accounting software to provide insights into cost behavior and profitability, ensuring accurate financial data for management decisions.
• Monitor and evaluate costs associated with production and operations, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to optimize resource allocation and improve margins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts, utilizing statistical analysis and historical data to support strategic planning and financial projections.
• Conduct regular audits of financial records and cost accounting practices to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, safeguarding financial reporting integrity.
• Implement cost control measures and efficiency initiatives, analyzing operational processes to identify areas for improvement and drive cost savings.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, providing detailed analysis of cost trends and their impact on overall business performance.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff on cost accounting principles and practices.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives, providing financial insights and analysis to support business development efforts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cost accounting processes and methodologies, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

Required Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in cost accounting.
