Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to join our team in the Cairo office. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background, familiarity with order processing systems, and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced technical environment. Your Role International, Challenging and Future-Oriented!

• Responsibility for closing and reporting procedures according to Siemens requirements, working closely with both multiple shared services and business to achieve this.
• Ensures implementation of approved accounting policies and procedures for assigned organizational unit(s), that match respective legal requirements - (i.e. IFRS and local GAAP).
• Overseas, manages and assesses improvements in all accounting transaction processes, also in coordination with shared services.
• Reviews, analyzes and ensures proper evaluation and disclosure of the Company s assets, liabilities, income and expenditure according to Siemens-wide or specific business guidelines.
• Manages the preparation of Company s balance sheet, P&L reports, annual financial statements, and reports respectively to management.
• Ensuring internal controls are in place, and accounting comply with all external regulations. Cooperates with external Auditors.
• Manages a team of professionals and support staff in different organizational settings.
• Ensures compliance with local accounting, tax and other statutory regulations.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Excellent accounting skills with ability to demonstrate understanding and interpretation of key financial statements with experience of minimum 7 to 10 years.
• Qualified (ACCA/CMA/CPA) or equivalent with relevant experience in a project-based industry.
  Strong understanding of POC accounting and project controlling requirements.
• Expert knowledge and experience in accounting for construction contracts, hedge accounting, provisions, and accruals.
• Be interested in the challenge of working in a dynamic and fast-paced international environment.
• Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge and experience using SAP (essential) (especially FICO module)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate an interest in digitalization and automation of processes
  Strong willingness to learn and develop
