Job descriptionWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, VAT, reconciliations, payables/receivables, and day-to-day financial operations.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s accounting and reporting requirements.
Skills- Maintain daily accounting transactions and financial records.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Perform bank, cash, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Maintain and monitor petty cash and company expenses.
- Follow up on customer outstanding balances and supplier payments.
- Verify invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.
- Handle UAE VAT-related accounting and documentation.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, auditors, and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable UAE regulations.
