Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant is responsible for recording and processing the company's day-to-day financial transactions — including banking, cash, and customer accounts — in an accurate and timely manner. The role supports the Finance & Accounting team by maintaining reliable accounting records, managing customer accounts receivable, and preparing the documentation required for internal reporting and external audits

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

·       Record and process daily banking, cash, and point-of-sale transactions across all branches, and execute related payments.

·       Record accruals, prepayments, fixed asset movements, and inventory-related costs.

·       Maintain customer accounts and price lists on the ERP system.

·       Manage the customer accounts receivable cycle, including collections, reconciliations, and credit adjustments.

·       Calculate and record commissions, tax and Zakat provisions, and bad debt provisions.

·       Support external audits by preparing required documentation.

Educational & Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a mid-to-large sized organization.

Skills & Competencies:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic (written and verbal).

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Power Query preferred)

• VAT audit handling experience (ZATCA)

• Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, ERP NEXT, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
