OMODA & JAECOO operates in Saudi Arabia as a direct subsidiary and consumer-centric brand under Chery Automobile. The company offers modern, tech-focused SUVs through official local showrooms. We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in Riyadh.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a local Accounts Payable Accountant to be based at our head office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably within the automotive or appliance industries. The role involves managing accounts payable functions to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Process and verify invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage fixed asset accounts and oversee depreciation schedules.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Maintain vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Experience in the automotive or appliance industries is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Location and Compensation

This position is based at our head office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
