QubitOrbit is a SaaS company in DIFC, an AI-powered commodity trading intelligence platform.

We're a lean, fast-moving team looking for our first dedicated finance hire to help build strong financial foundations as we scale.

The Role We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations across our group entities.

This is a great opportunity to grow with our startup and take ownership of core finance processes from the ground up.

Areas of Responsibility Bookkeeping & Financial Records Invoicing & Subscription Management Xero-Based Accounting AI-Enabled Finance Workflows Maintain accurate books of accounts (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries) Reconcile bank statements and company expenses on a monthly basis Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Support VAT filing and compliance requirements under UAE regulations Track vendor invoices and contractor payments Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking Support the founder with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests Fully remote role with flexible working hours Direct exposure to building financial systems and processes at a startup from the ground up Opportunity to grow into a broader finance role as the company scales Be part of an early team shaping the finance function of an AI-powered fintech platform Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1–2 years of accounting experience Comfortable working with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar) Familiarity with UAE VAT and basic bookkeeping principles is a plus Fluent in English
