Volantes Technical Recruitment is supporting a leading organisation within the advanced aviation and technology sector in Dubai with the appointment of an experienced Cost Accountant Lead.

This is a hands-on finance position responsible for accurately capturing, analysing and reporting programme and project costs, alongside ownership of key cost accounting, inventory, accounts payable and payroll activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, consolidate and reconcile programme and product cost data.
- Maintain standard and actual costs within the ERP system.
- Prepare monthly COGS, inventory valuation and unit-economics reporting.
- Produce standard-versus-actual cost variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) cost records.
- Coordinate Accounts Payable, including invoice verification, PO matching, approvals and supplier reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly payroll, including salaries, allowances, deductions, leave and end-of-service calculations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and audit activities.
- Maintain highly accurate financial records in line with company accounting procedures.

Requirements:

Key Requirements

- 4–8 years' experience within cost or management accounting.
- Experience within aviation, automotive, manufacturing or another CapEx-intensive industry.
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, COGS, inventory valuation and variance reporting.
- Experience working with programme/project cost data.
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable and payroll.
- UAE WPS knowledge is preferred.
- ERP experience such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Relevant Accounting/Finance qualification — CMA, ACCA, CPA or part-qualified equivalent.
- Fluent English.

Salary:
AED 21,000 to 22,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
