🌟 We're Hiring: Senior Accountant! 🌟We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Tangier. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and experience managing client accounting files, reconciliations, and closing activities.📍 Location: Tangier, Morocco

⏰ Work Mode: Work From Office — hybrid mode available after 6 months

💼 Role: Senior AccountantWhat You'll Do:💼 Manage and follow up on a portfolio of client accounting files

🧾 Record and control purchase invoices, sales invoices, and financial transactions

🏦 Process and monitor banking transactions

🔎 Perform customer and supplier account reconciliations and lettrage

📊 Review general ledger accounts and identify errors, inconsistencies, or unusual transactions

📋 Follow up on suspense accounts, outstanding items, and missing documents

📅 Prepare accounting files for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing

📑 Prepare the necessary reports and accounting schedules for review

💰 Participate in VAT and tax-related activities according to the requirements of each file

🤝 Communicate with clients to clarify transactions and obtain missing information

✅ Ensure proper documentation, compliance with internal procedures, deadlines, and quality standards

📈 Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and proceduresWhat We're Looking For:✅ Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within an accounting firm

✅ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes

✅ Experience with client accounting portfolios and closing activities

✅ Good understanding of VAT and tax-related accounting requirements

✅ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

✅ Fluent in French with good communication skills in English
